The Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek, is scheduled to visit the City of Ceramics on May 25. He will attend the opening of another minicenter of science. The Zone of Discovery, Imagination and Activity (SOWA) will be established at the Knowledge Center.
SOWA is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Copernicus Science Centre that involves creating small science centers in smaller cities and towns with up to 150,000 inhabitants. The centers are established at existing cultural and scientific-educational institutions, such as community centers, libraries, media libraries, art galleries and museums. Each facility offers an interactive exhibition as well as opportunities to take part in scientific experiences and experiments.
