A tragic incident occurred at the gravel pit in Zabobrze. The body of an elderly man was recovered on Wednesday, April 21, before 5 p.m. It is possible that the body belongs to a Bolesławiec resident who went missing in December last year.
Preliminary findings indicate that the drowned man had been in the water for a long time. Investigators ruled out the involvement of third parties. The Bolesławiec police are handling the case. An autopsy is expected to determine the cause of the man's death.
