During a night patrol, traffic police from Lubań stopped a Daewoo Matiz with registration plates from the Pomeranian Voivodeship for inspection. It turned out that four people were inside the car: the driver, a 32-year-old Belarusian man, and three young Yemeni nationals.

It soon became clear that the illegal immigrants wanted to reach Germany. Together with an officer of the Prison Service from Zaręba, the police transported the foreigners to the Border Guard post in Zgorzelec, where further activities in the case will be carried out.
