Health Minister Adam Niedzielski at #MZ: I decided to transform the state of epidemic into a state of epidemic threat as of 16 May. Forecasts show that the epidemic is transitioning into an endemic.
The head of the Ministry of Health noted:
We are monitoring the situation continuously. Today’s figure of 611 infections reflects the average number of illnesses in recent weeks.
And he added:
The number of patients hospitalized with #COVID19 is approximately 1,100. According to doctors, however, these are no longer cases as severe as those seen with the Delta variant. Hospital stays are also considerably shorter.
