In mid-2021, police officers from Polkowice concluded preparatory proceedings concerning several cases of cosmetics being stolen from drugstores in Polkowice. – As officers from the Investigative Department of the Polkowice District Police Headquarters established, the person behind the aforementioned crimes was a 34-year-old resident of Lubin – explains Junior Aspirant Przemysław Rybikowski, spokesperson for the Polkowice police.
The Lubin resident was charged with five counts at the time. However, knowing the thief’s criminal record, the officers carried out other procedures with him in advance. Among other things, they collected DNA samples.
