Paper daffodils, a symbol of remembrance of the women and men who fought in the ghetto uprising, were also handed out at Bolesławiec City Hall. After the holiday break, young people from Bolesławiec schools encouraged people to pin on a daffodil as a sign that #ŁączyNasPamięć.
During the visit, Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman referred to the events of 19 April 1943 and the current situation. (The meeting with the young people also provided an opportunity to see some of the rooms in Bolesławiec City Hall).
