23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment: – The holiday period provides an opportunity to rest, meet with family and celebrate Easter together. The nature of military service and the tasks involved in strengthening the protection of our borders mean that some soldiers will once again spend it away from their loved ones.
On the eve of Easter, the artillerymen serving at the border were visited by the commander of the 23rd Artillery Regiment, Col. Krzysztof Malankiewicz, who familiarized himself with the current situation and the tasks carried out by the soldiers under his command.
The shared meal provided an opportunity to talk about the everyday matters of military service, while the traditional sharing of the Easter egg served as a sign of remembrance and respect for all soldiers serving far from their family homes.
