Zgorzelec police officers from the SPEED group stopped a taxi driver for a roadside check. Commissioner Agnieszka Goguł:
Due to the reasonable suspicion that the man was under the influence of drugs, the officers tested him. It turned out that the 60-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County was under the influence of methamphetamine.
She adds:
As a result of searching the vehicle, the officers found two plastic bags containing a crystalline substance.
It turned out to be methamphetamine as well. The 60-year-old was arrested and could face up to three years in prison.
