Crime investigators detained a man suspected of committing 4 offenses at two stores. Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters:
Over the course of two months, the 38-year-old stole various goods worth more than 3,000 zlotys.
How did the thief operate?
The man pretended to be shopping and then—as if nothing had happened—left the stores without paying. His loot included perfumes, cleaning and food products, as well as alcohol. Officers: – During a single visit to a store, the suspect was able to carry out goods worth between 600 and 1,000 zlotys.
The detainee admitted to the crime. He now faces up to five years in prison.
