Criminal investigators from Bolesławiec, acting on the basis of operational findings, arrested people suspected of attacking a woman outside a nightclub. The incident occurred during the second weekend of March, at night, in Bolesławiec.
District Police Headquarters:
Based on the collected evidence, officers determined that the robbery was committed by two women from Zgorzelec County, who acted together.
The first to be arrested was a 21-year-old woman. Police later arrested her 23-year-old accomplice.
Bolesławiec officers:
Before the nightclub, the suspects committed an offense against a woman from Bolesławiec. They attacked her by grabbing and pushing her, then sprayed her in the face with pepper spray and knocked her down. After rendering the victim defenseless, they stole her jacket and handbag, which contained, among other things, a phone and a payment card.
That same night, while returning home, the perpetrators used the stolen card twice to pay for purchases at a petrol station. Several hours later, they again tried to buy something using the victim’s account, but her card had already been blocked, so they threw away the useless loot.
At the request of the Bolesławiec District Prosecutor’s Office, the court ordered the suspects to be held in pre-trial detention for three months. The arrested women will face charges of robbery and burglary. They face up to 12 years in prison.
