Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec identified the perpetrator of a theft that took place in December 2021 as a result of operational findings. In a rural area, the suspect took advantage of the fact that the house door was unlocked and that the residents were occupied with something on the property.
The man entered the house and stole money and jewelry. The losses were estimated at more than 5,000 zlotys. The 26-year-old resident of Lubań County appeared in the Nowogrodziec municipality again. He was detained and charged.
The suspect faces up to 5 years in prison for the crime committed.
