On Sunday morning, a 35-year-old man attempted to steal fuel worth more than PLN 200 at a petrol station near Brzeźnik. The man was caught in the act. The police were called to the scene. A motion for punishment was filed in the case, and the 35-year-old will face court.

This time, the theft was unsuccessful. Fuel theft is a scourge not only for drivers whose fuel is stolen from their cars, but also for station managers and salespeople. Most often, thieves arrive at petrol stations in vehicles fitted with stolen registration plates. They fill up and drive away without paying.
