Several days ago, officers from the Criminal Department of the Lwówek police, acting on the basis of operational activities, arrested a 33-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County who, according to police information, may have been in possession of narcotic substances.

During a search of the apartment, officers discovered and secured 940 saleable portions of methamphetamine, 50 portions of marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy tablets.

The evidence gathered enabled investigators to charge the 33-year-old with possessing a significant quantity of narcotic substances and supplying them to other people.

At the request of the investigators and the prosecutor’s office, the court decided to remand the man in temporary custody for three months. These offences are punishable by up to 10 years’ imprisonment.
