On Friday, March 18, the Rutkowski Patrol set off for Ukraine to support those fighting the Putin army. They collected specialist bulletproof vests and specialist equipment, which they intend to donate to Ukrainian soldiers.

“The group consists of six people; five vehicles are going, and it is possible that other people will join us at the border so that, in the event of an attack, there will be a replacement driver in each car,” informs Krzysztof Rutkowski. “Thank you to Andrzej Jankowski from the Łódź-based company JBF GROUP for providing the aid. We are taking primarily bulletproof vests, as well as many smaller items useful in combat, such as power generators from Leon Marciniak of Robczyce. I would also like to thank the Plastmal Foundation from Ostróda for its equipment support. On the way back, we will try to fill the cars with women and children who are attempting to escape the war zone,” adds Krzysztof Rutkowski.

Maja Rutkowski is also travelling with her husband; she is carrying toys in her car. She also wants to help with her knowledge as a psychologist.

“If we meet children in the war zone, I hope that I will at least cheer them up a little with the toys,” says Maja Rutkowski. “I am a mother myself; I have children. In today’s world, you cannot be selfish. We must help others,” adds the detective.

On her fan page, Maja Rutkowski asks: “If Russian troops entered Polish territory, would you take up arms and fight to defend your Motherland, or would you try to leave Our Country as quickly as possible?”
