It happened during the night of 13–14 March. Volunteer firefighters from Nowogrodziec:
[...] at 03:24 we were dispatched to a building fire (a hall). Upon arriving at the scene, we found the building’s roof and interior on fire; passenger cars were inside.
They added:
After extinguishing the flames, we began demolition work.
Firefighters from the following units took part in the operation, which lasted almost two hours:
- OSP KSRG Nowogrodziec
- OSP KSRG Czerna
- OSP Gierałtów
- JRG Bolesławiec.
Police are investigating the incident.
