The incident occurred on Wednesday, March 9, at a railway-road crossing in Ruszów (Zgorzelec County, voivodeship road No. 296). At around 5:20 a.m., a truck and a Koleje Lubuskie railcar collided there. The train and two heavy goods vehicles were damaged.

The most important thing is that none of the drivers or the train’s two-person crew was injured (the railcar was traveling without passengers).
He adds:
The probable cause of the incident was the truck driver’s failure to exercise caution; the truck entered the rail vehicle when it was already practically on the crossing.
The police and railway services are investigating the incident.
