Exercises Saber Strike 22 are underway in Poland. The main objective of the exercises is to test the ability to rapidly redeploy troops from bases located in Germany to eastern Poland and then onward to the Baltic states. Before the troops reach those countries, they will conduct exercises in Bemowo Piskie.
The polska-zbrojna.pl website:
Soldiers of the US 2nd Cavalry Regiment, who are stationed in Germany on a daily basis, will take part in “Saber Strike.” Apache helicopters had already appeared over Poland. According to the scenario, the American convoy is to cross the Polish-German border at Jędrzychowice and then move east.
This morning, a US Army military convoy entered Poland from Germany and, using the A4 and A18 motorways, headed to the encampment in Trzebień Mały. The convoy will then continue east.
