A young officer from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec noticed, while travelling to Warsaw for professional adaptation, that the driver ahead of him was having difficulty keeping the vehicle in the correct lane. KPP:
The officer tried to give light and sound signals, but the woman behind the wheel did not react.
When the 45-year-old turned onto a side road, she lost control of the car and drove into a fence.
The officers continue:
The police officer immediately took action, taking the car keys and calling a patrol that was on duty.
And, as it turned out, quite rightly so. The resident of Bolesławiec County had 1.8 per mille of alcohol in her system. The result? She lost her driving licence and now faces up to two years in prison.
The police officers add:
The officer, who has been serving in the Bolesławiec unit for several months, very quickly proved that wearing the uniform is his calling.
