The incident occurred on Monday, February 14, on provincial road no. 297, near Brunów. As reported by lwowecki.info:
The 42-year-old driving a VW Sharan was overtaking other cars. The man was in a great hurry. However, his skills and level of sobriety did not allow him to control the vehicle. Just outside Brunów, the Bolesławiec resident lost control of the car, which ended up in a ditch.
Witnesses to the incident, suspecting that the reckless driver might be under the influence of alcohol, notified the police.
