The incident occurred on Thursday, February 10, at around 4:00 p.m., on national road No. 297, near the village of Golnice (just before the roundabout at the A18). The driver of a Ford, a 26-year-old woman from Rybnik County, rear-ended a Volkswagen Golf driven by a 46-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County.
The latter was injured. She was taken to hospital with spinal injuries. Fortunately, it turned out at the scene that the woman had suffered only minor injuries. The incident was classified as a collision; nevertheless, the entire matter will end up in court.
The officers appeal for prudence and caution on the road.
Firefighters from Bolesławiec and Trzebień, as well as a medical rescue team and two police patrols, took part in the operation.
