Minister Adam Niedzielski said during a meeting with journalists that, among other things, the peak of the fifth wave is already behind us. And that the data indicate that we are witnessing the beginning of the end of the pandemic.
He also added that restrictions will probably be lifted in March.
What important decisions has the ministry made?
- 5,000 COVID beds will be allocated to patients not infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the coming week.
- From February 15, isolation will last 7 days, and household members’ quarantine will be counted concurrently.
- There will be no so-called contact quarantine.
