Police officers detained a 28-year-old resident of Bolesławiec suspected of robbery. The incident occurred during the night of March 20–21. The 28-year-old attacked a man four years his senior. Threatening him with a knife, he demanded that the man hand over his mobile phone. When he received it, he fled.
The police quickly located the suspect. When he saw the officers, the man began waving the knife. However, he then threw the sharp weapon to the ground.
At the time of his arrest, the attacker was completely drunk. He had a blood alcohol level of 3 per mille. He now faces up to 12 years in prison.
