The new headquarters of the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2022. Unofficially, spring is being mentioned.

The facility on Modłowa Street will meet the standardization requirements for police buildings while also providing appropriate working conditions for officers and visitor services.

In the new headquarters building, the Bolesławiec officers will have better working conditions. They will have 6,500 square meters at their disposal, four times more than at the current headquarters on Zygmunta Augusta Street. The new facility will include a so-called police detention area: six new cells for detainees. Currently, detained persons are taken to neighboring police headquarters. There will also be a room with kennels for dogs.

The plot for the investment was transferred free of charge by the local government authorities to the Lower Silesian Police. The local government authorities provided financial support for the preparation of the design documentation.

The total cost of the investment, including equipment, is more than 33 million złoty. The investment will be financed from budget funds as part of the Police Modernization Programme.
