On December 27, in the afternoon, a police patrol stopped a passenger vehicle for inspection on one of Bolesławiec’s streets. It was being driven by a 36-year-old man. The resident of Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality got behind the wheel in defiance of a court-imposed driving ban issued by the District Court in Legnica.
An hour later, in Nowogrodziec Municipality, officers from the police station detained a 58-year-old man who had violated a restraining and no-contact order concerning his brother, issued by the Regional Court in Jelenia Góra.
After 10 p.m., in Bolesławiec, officers detained a 47-year-old resident of our county who had a narcotic substance in the form of marijuana in his possession.
Violating a court order is punishable by up to 5 years in prison, while possession of drugs is punishable by up to 3 years in prison.
