The holiday period is a time of intensified work for police officers. Between 24 and 26 December, officers intervened more than 100 times in Bolesławiec County. Family disputes were often the reason.
During the holidays, police officers checked 239 cars. Despite the changing weather conditions in our area, we recorded only 5 road collisions.
Officers apprehended a 38-year-old man who was driving under the influence of drugs. During a night patrol of the city, community police officers apprehended a 37-year-old man who was driving a passenger car with more than 3 parts per thousand of alcohol in his exhaled air.
The officers also apprehended a man wanted on an arrest warrant by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Jastrzębie Zdrój.
A resident of Jawor was also arrested for driving a vehicle despite having his driving privileges revoked.
