– As a result of cooperation between police officers from Bolesławiec and Zgorzelec counties, just a few hours after the burglary, two suspects were detained and property worth nearly PLN 170,000 was recovered – reports asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer for the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.
Based on operational activities carried out by officers from the police stations in Nowogrodziec and Pieńsk, the perpetrators were detained in Bolesławiec County, near the home of one of the suspects.

When officers spotted the stolen vehicle on one of the properties, they immediately took action. A 32-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County was just inspecting the haul in the cargo area, while a 28-year-old resident of Karkonosze County was taking his belongings from the driver's cab. Both were detained.
Police officers found drugs on each of the detainees.
The van itself is worth PLN 40,000, while the value of the goods inside the vehicle was estimated at PLN 125,000.

A representative of the injured party stated that nothing was missing. The officers also recovered EUR 610, which the perpetrators had already managed to divide between themselves.
The younger suspect is a repeat offender and faces up to 15 years in prison. Our local man could spend as many as ten years behind bars. Both suspects will also be charged with possession of narcotic substances.
