The incident occurred on Monday afternoon, December 20. The emergency services received a report that a bloodied man who had escaped from the Zespół Opieki Zdrowotnej in Bolesławiec was running through the town wearing only pajamas.
As it turned out, the resident of Bolesławiec County was awaiting surgery; he had escaped from the surgical ward. He was wearing only pajamas, was barefoot and had short sleeves.
Municipal police officers spotted the man on Mikołaja Brody Street and invited him to the station.
The patient is now receiving medical care.
