As Lwówek police report:
Police are determining where the 56-year-old resident of Gryfów Śląski may be staying. On 10 November 2021 he left the hospital in Bolesławiec and has not contacted his family to this day.
Police are appealing in particular to residents of Bolesławiec, Lwówek Śląski and Gryfów Śląski to carefully check allotment gardens and garden sheds.
And they add:
We thank you for every piece of information, even the smallest, about the missing man’s possible whereabouts. You can contact the duty officer at the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski at 47 87 35 200 or a criminal division officer at tel. 47 87 35 264.
Let us recall. The entire story was reported by in mid-November by the lwowecki.info. The 56-year-old resident of Gryfów Śląski was admitted to the hospital in Bolesławiec. His family said at the time that he was infected with COVID-19.
On 10 November, the man left the Bolesławiec facility without authorization. He did not contact either the hospital staff or his family. The Lwówek-based website added at the time:
That same day, the family notified the police about the disappearance of Mr Zenon. The police accepted the notification and classified it at a level indicating that the disappearance did not pose a threat to the man’s life or health.
In November, the family also turned to the media to publicize the case:
The missing man is Zenon Reszka, 56, a resident of Gryfów Śląski
. Description: height 172 cm, blue eyes.
He was wearing sweatpants, a striped shirt and a dark jacket.
