Laboratoria Przyszłości is an educational initiative implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science in cooperation with the GovTech Center at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. The initiative aims to support all primary schools in developing students’ future skills in the so-called STEAM fields (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics).

The financial support obtained under the Laboratoria Przyszłości program will be used to purchase modern equipment that will make school classes more engaging and enable students to develop their interests not only during technology lessons and other compulsory educational activities, but also during extracurricular activities, interest clubs and other forms of skills development.

The primary schools in Bolesławiec will receive educational equipment in accordance with the equipment catalog, which schools may use to purchase items under the Laboratoria Przyszłości initiative. The basic equipment currently includes:

  • 3D printers with accessories, including applications, slicers, etc.,
  • Microcontrollers with sensors, amplifiers, prototyping boards and other accessories,
  • Recording equipment for presenting students’ achievements, including cameras, microphones, lighting, etc.,
  • Soldering stations for microcontrollers.

The catalog also includes additional equipment, which schools may select freely.

The financial support amounts to PLN 184,800 for Primary School No. 1, PLN 152,400 for Primary School No. 2, PLN 100,500 for Primary School No. 3, PLN 198,600 for Primary School No. 4, and PLN 162,300 for Primary School No. 5.

Financial support is awarded on the basis of an algorithm, with a maximum of PLN 300 per student.

The mission of the Laboratoria Przyszłości program is to create a modern school where classes are conducted in an engaging and interesting way, encouraging students to discover their talents and develop their interests.
