On September 1, ceremonial assemblies marking the start of the new school year were held, attended by students, teachers and parents. On this special day, police officers patrolled the areas around schools and other educational institutions throughout Bolesławiec County.
The officers focused on pedestrian safety, proper conduct in the vicinity of pedestrian crossings and the behavior of drivers traveling near schools.

The police appeal to drivers to exercise particular caution. In the vicinity of educational institutions, drivers should slow down, carefully observe the road and its surroundings, and pay special attention to children, who may not always properly assess the distance and speed of an approaching vehicle.
