By 31 December 2021 (Friday) applications may be submitted for the Bolesławiec Mayor’s Award for promoting the city in 2021. Awards are granted for outstanding achievements in artistic creativity, the dissemination and protection of culture, the development of science, outstanding results achieved in sport, and social initiatives contributing to the promotion of the city.

Who can submit an application for an award?

The following are entitled to submit applications for awards:

  1. Mayor of Bolesławiec;
  2. Bolesławiec City Council and committees of the Bolesławiec City Council;
  3. cultural institutions, associations and creative unions;
  4. artistic agencies and socio-cultural associations;
  5. editorial offices of local newspapers, radio and television stations;
  6. publishers;
  7. educational institutions;
  8. scientific and research associations and organizations;
  9. sports clubs, associations and organizations;
  10. social and local-government organizations;
  11. local-government bodies, authorities and units.

Individuals and those themselves interested in receiving an award are not entitled to submit applications for awards. City Hall:

The procedure and rules for awarding the Bolesławiec Mayor’s Awards are set out in Resolution No. XV/104/11 of the Bolesławiec City Council of 26 October 2011 concerning the establishment of the Bolesławiec Mayor’s Awards for promoting the city and determining the procedure and rules for awarding them.
