The issue of the operating theatre is back. On Wednesday, October 3, Kamil Barczyk, director of the county hospital in Bolesławiec, told Bolesławiec City Council members about a series of hospital investments. “I think that this year we will reach PLN 100 million in investments carried out at our hospital. This is a substantial amount, thanks to which we can genuinely treat our patients to a very high standard,” said the head of ZOZ. He stressed that as recently as 2016, the facility was investing around PLN 15 million.
What about the operating theatre?
“The modernization of the operating theatre and intensive care unit is progressing and, I hope, will be nearing completion by January 15,” K. Barczyk explained. “We are practically at the stage of finishing individual rooms. We have more or less completed the installation stage.”
