Soldiers from the 1st self-propelled artillery squadron, the 2nd self-propelled artillery squadron and the 3rd rocket artillery squadron improved their skills in fire control, as well as the operation of the command and reconnaissance system in various tactical situations, during the day and at night. The most important element of the exercise was conducting live-fire exercises. Many different firing tasks were carried out during the day and at night, including internal manoeuvring.

Alongside conducting firing activities, the subunits carried out tasks related to combat support and responded to a series of simulated incidents, whose resolution and response time were assessed by the exercise leadership.

Field training places great emphasis on practising and improving elements of the regiment’s command system. All communications systems must operate efficiently to provide the conditions necessary for the exercising subunits to carry out their tasks effectively.

Another equally important element carried out by the logistics battalion was providing logistical support to the regiment’s subunits during combat operations. Reservists called up for the exercise trained intensively at the training area alongside professional soldiers. For the reservists, the field grouping was an excellent opportunity to integrate the actions of crews, teams and personnel assigned to functional posts.
