This time, the children went to the Municipal Waste Treatment Plant in Trzebień. The aim of the trips was to learn what happens to the waste we produce every day. City Hall:

Waste management is one of the greatest challenges facing local authorities at every level. It is also described as one of the most serious challenges of modern civilization. Knowledge of how to deal with our waste every day so that it does not become poisonous to us and the environment, and so that it becomes valuable raw material for industry, is now essential for everyone who produces waste—that is, all of us.

The fourth-graders learned this by observing the journey of waste through the plant’s successive stations in Trzebień. They will also prepare for a waste-knowledge competition, which MCEE, in cooperation with the Municipal Communal Services Company, has organized for November 17, 2021. We already wish all its participants success.

The trips and competition were financed from the budget of the City of Bolesławiec.
