According to the officers’ findings, the Volkswagen driver, a 19-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, failed to yield the right of way to a woman riding a Yamaha motorcycle, a 36-year-old from Bolesławiec. Proceedings are being conducted in connection with a suspected accident.
Both were sober.

The incident took place on Thursday, October 28, on Tyrankiewiczów Street in Bolesławiec. Before 3:00 p.m., two vehicles collided: a motorcycle and a Volkswagen Golf.
According to the account of another motorcyclist, a witness to the incident, two people were riding motorcycles along Tyrankiewiczów Street: the person we spoke to and his wife. Suddenly, a Volkswagen Golf passenger car pulled out of a driveway. The man managed to pass, but his wife did not. Her motorcycle struck the side of the car. The rider fell, and in such an unfortunate way that she was pinned beneath her own motorcycle.
The woman was injured. She was taken to hospital. [...]
The witness says that both he and his wife were riding fairly slowly. Police are determining the circumstances of the incident.
