“Urgently Seeking a Biography” is a performance that, in an artistic-documentary manner, attempts to convey the atmosphere of the work, glory and decline of workplaces, using the porcelain factories of Wałbrzych as an example. The theatre seeks to restore the memory of the quiet heroines of the porcelain factories and to draw attention to the fact that the historical identity of post-industrial cities, without taking women’s narratives into account, is simply incomplete and distorted. We know the HIS-stories of miners—it is time to learn the HER-stories of female workers.

After the performance, there will be a meeting with the audience featuring the actors. Details and tickets at https://kino.boleslawiec.pl/index.php?id=3083.

The performance is presented as part of the Teatr Polska programme carried out by the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute. We invite you.
