The incident occurred on October 18, in the evening. Immediately after extinguishing a meadow fire in Gościszów, firefighters were dispatched to another incident. Officers from the OSP KSRG in Nowogrodziec:
In Nowogrodziec, on Garncarska Street, a coniferous tree was on fire.
They added:
The information was confirmed at the scene, and one hose line was immediately used to attack the fire.
The fire was quickly brought under control. Nevertheless, due to the condition of the plant, the incident commander decided to cut down the tree, thereby eliminating the danger.
Firefighters from Bolesławiec and Nowogrodziec took part in the operation, which lasted an hour and a half. Fortunately, no one was injured.
