Bolesławiec criminal investigators arrested a 37-year-old man suspected of misappropriating a mobile phone and recovered the device. Sub-Inspector Wojciech Jabłoński from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław:
In September, a girl left her mobile phone on the seat of a city bus.
And adds:
A woman who boarded the vehicle noticed the item and asked another passenger whether it belonged to him. He immediately confirmed that the phone was his.
The result? The suspect pawned the device, worth PLN 800, at a pawnshop for a much lower amount. The offender was arrested, and the misappropriated property was recovered.
As the 37-year-old is a repeat offender, he could face up to seven and a half years in prison.
