The students and teachers of the Complex of General and Vocational Schools in Bolesławiec joined the National Reading campaign on 3 September. This time, the “hero of the event” was Gabriela Zapolska’s work “The Morality of Mrs. Dulska”. The drama, written at the beginning of the 20th century, remains consistently relevant in its message. It still entertains and intrigues while simultaneously and painfully exposing the superficiality of morality. A meeting with the world of the Dulski family during the first days of the new school year was an excellent opportunity for students to look at the literary canon from a different perspective and, in a somewhat more relaxed atmosphere, become friends with literature and the world of values it creates.

It was also an opportunity to organize a joint project involving students and teachers of ZSOiZ and the school’s new principal. Let us recall that, as of 1 September 2021, Renata Paszko took up the position of principal at ZSOiZ. She is a teacher of vocational subjects (economics and logistics) with 23 years of professional experience.

Renata Paszko is the author and reviewer of curricula for Vocational Education Courses (KKZ) and Additional Vocational Skills in logistics and freight-forwarding professions. She serves as a career counsellor and is a co-author of the bilingual methodological textbook for teachers, Entrepreneurship Knows No Borders.
