During the night from Saturday to Sunday, firefighters responded to two fires. At around 3:00 a.m., a car caught fire on the road between Ławszowa and Świętoszów. When the crews arrived at the scene, the vehicle was off the road and engulfed in flames. There was no one inside the burning car. The damage to the vehicle indicates that it may previously have been damaged in a road incident.
The second fire occurred in Iwiny about an hour later. A detached garage caught fire. No one was inside. There was a risk that the fire would spread to the neighboring garages. Fortunately, the firefighters prevented this from happening.
