The accident occurred before 11 p.m. on the A18 route, past the Golnice exit, in the direction of Olszyna. The driver of an Alfa Romeo crashed into the back of a truck. He probably did not see it. The truck driver says he saw nothing. At one point, he only heard a bang and thought it was a flat tire. He stopped after several hundred metres and only then noticed what had happened.

One of the car’s passengers died at the scene. The other three, including one woman, were taken to hospital. The police are establishing the details of the incident.
