In the Nowogrodziec municipality, two cars were damaged. Under cover of night, a young man entered private property and, using a stone, smashed a window in one car and scratched the bodywork of another vehicle. The perpetrator knew the owner and planned to damage his property. The losses amounted to PLN 2,000. Police officers detained a man suspected of scratching the bodywork and smashing windows in the vehicles.
Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec charged a 23-year-old man from Bolesławiec. In addition, the man was wanted by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec.
The perpetrator admitted to committing the crime. He faces up to five years in prison.
