On Thursday, January 21, the Bolesławiec Middle Schools Table Tennis Championships were held in the assembly hall of II Liceum Ogólnokształcące. In the girls’ category, Nikola Nurkowska and Anna Latosińska from GS No. 3 won. The champions’ coach is Piotr Bajer. Representatives of GS No. 2, Jagoda Brakoniecka and Patrycja Drążkiewicz, finished in second place.
In the boys’ category, Tomasz Bojko and Kamil Nebesny from GS No. 3 proved the best. The team’s coach is Piotr Bajer. Second place went to the table tennis players from GS No. 2 (Piotr Rajczakowski and Patryk Kowal), while third place went to the competitors from GS No. 4 (Marek Letko, Rafał Sapeta and Michał Kozioł).
The championships were held as part of the Lower Silesian Youth Gymnasium Games 2009/2010. The organizers of the competition were the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre and II Liceum Ogólnokształcące.
