An email containing questions in Russian and English was sent to the hospital in Bolesławiec. The email asked whether it was true that the hospital had refused to admit a burned American soldier. The email referred to a news item published on one of the Polish portals. The article claimed that the hospital in Bolesławiec had refused to admit an American soldier who had been burned at a training ground. It also included the personal details of a doctor working at the Bolesławiec hospital, who had allegedly spoken about American soldiers stationed in Poland in a primitive and vulgar manner, including claiming that American soldiers were spreading disease.

An internal investigation was conducted at the hospital in Bolesławiec. It revealed that no such incident had taken place at all. The situation described by the portal was also not confirmed by the American military. Moreover, it is impossible to verify the source or author of the publication in any way. The hospital notified the relevant services about the entire situation. The hospital in Bolesławiec cooperates with US Army soldiers, and this cooperation is going well.

The matter was publicized by Radio Wrocław. In a statement to the radio station, the director of the hospital in Bolesławiec, Kamil Barczyk, said that the information had been published by a Polish-language portal pretending to be a serious publication and that it probably had roots in Russia. What is more, the alleged journalists of the portal are imaginary figures who do not exist in the real world.

What was the purpose of inventing the story about refusing to help an American soldier? Perhaps it is another element of information warfare intended to damage Polish-American relations.
