A tragic road accident at a pedestrian crossing occurred on May 11, at approximately 9:30 p.m., in Lubin. “The vehicle driver failed to yield to a pedestrian who was proceeding correctly,” reports aspirant Krzysztof Pawlik, deputy press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Lubin. “According to our preliminary findings, the pedestrian was crossing Hutnicza Street, heading toward Topolowa Street. As he was completing the crossing, he was fatally struck by a passenger car. The 82-year-old resident of Lubin died at the scene.”

The perpetrator fled the scene without helping the injured man. Spokesperson:

The man, whose details were also established, abandoned the vehicle within the city. During efforts to detain the perpetrator, he turned himself in at the police station. Officers:
