Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec detained a man suspected of breaking into a vehicle and stealing from it. The 25-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County defeated the car’s security devices, removed its battery and stole the radio from inside.
As a result of the information obtained, police recovered the battery, which the perpetrator had given to his employer so that he could sell it at a non-ferrous metals scrapyard.
The perpetrator was detained and charged with burglary, for which he faces up to 10 years in prison.
