Officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, while carrying out activities related to the catalytic converter theft, identified a suspect in the case.
The 34-year-old resident of Bolesławiec cut out the catalytic converter from a passenger car parked in front of the victim’s company. The losses were estimated at PLN 800.
The suspect was detained and charged. The 34-year-old admitted to committing the theft; he faces up to five years in prison for the offense.
