On Monday, December 28, in the auditorium of the Młodzieżowy Dom Kultury Marek Straszak presented several selected music videos and experimental films, showing ways of integrating sound with visual art. Toward the end of the meeting, Straszak screened music videos he had made and invited those interested to the “See The Sound” music visualization workshop, which he will lead at the Młodzieżowy Dom Kultury in February.
Among the clips presented by Straszak were productions by outstanding artists: Jonathan Glazer (the music video for Radiohead’s “Street Spirit”) and Chris Cunningham (music videos for Björk, Madonna and Aphex Twin).

Marek Straszak – a graduate of I LO in Bolesławiec. He has been interested in art and animation for years. He attended graphic arts classes at the MDK. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław and at FH Krefeld (Germany). He is currently a student at Berlin University of the Arts. He mainly works with animation, interactive installations and visualizations.
