Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyna, while carrying out activities related to an incident in Bolesławiec municipality, identified and apprehended the perpetrator. KPP:
The 40-year-old man broke into a room belonging to railway infrastructure. The resident of Bolesławiec County stole two specialized batteries from the control room, used to power technical equipment.
The 40-year-old was arrested, and property worth PLN 4,000 was recovered. Interestingly, the suspect will also be held responsible for possessing narcotic substances, as methamphetamine was found on him.
The man was charged with two offenses. He now faces a sentence of between one and as many as ten years in prison.
