Jelenia Góra criminal investigators detained a 36-year-old man suspected of possessing and dealing drugs. – While conducting activities aimed at combating drug-related crime, police officers obtained information that the 36-year-old most likely possessed drugs and might also be dealing them – reports Sub-Inspector Edyta Bagrowska, press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra. – In his garage, officers found methamphetamine and marijuana, as well as scales for weighing drugs. In total, the seized drugs could be used to make more than 500 saleable doses.

The spokeswoman adds:

As a result of further activities in the case, police officers established that the 36-year-old had also been dealing drugs. Since the beginning of the year, he had sold drugs several times to various people.

Police are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the case in detail, checking where the illegal substances came from and identifying further recipients.

The Jelenia Góra resident was taken into police custody. He faces between one and as many as ten years in prison. The man was also placed under police supervision and must pay bail of PLN 5,000.
